About Us - Principal

Paul Humble began as Principal at The Riverina Anglican College in January 2017.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Politics and History), Graduate Diploma of Education, Masters of Arts (History and Religion), and is currently completing a Master of Education (Leadership). Paul previously was the Deputy Head: Head of Senior School at Blue Mountains Grammar School.

Prior to this appointment, Paul served for 4 years as Deputy Principal: Director of Students and Family Services as well as Head of Welfare, Head of History and Housemaster at St Paul’s Grammar School, Penrith (an International Baccalaureate World School); he was a Senior IBO Moderator at sessions in Singapore and Bangkok; Year Advisor at Woodcroft College in Adelaide (an International Baccalaureate World School) and Head of History, Head of Administration and Year Advisor in the DET. Paul is the current Chair of the HICES NSW Pastoral Care Network.

Paul cares deeply about the individual and providing all students and staff with the opportunities and skills to reach their full potential in all endeavours. He strives to build caring communities of collaboration, collegiality and respect. Paul has researched, reviewed, evaluated and implemented new practices in teaching and learning, leadership and student and staff wellbeing in three schools. He has utilised a range of data collection methodologies to complete these tasks and worked collaboratively with all facets of the communities to enhance programs for student and community learning.
