Sport Star of the Year Award

Each year the College celebrates the achievements of a Junior and Senior, Male and Female Sport Star. As students participate in a sporting event throughout the year, points are allocated based on the value of that event and scores are collated at the end of the year. Winners are announced on Presentation Night in December.

Point allocations are:

ONE POINT:

  • Representing the College in a Gala Day e.g League Tag, Netball, Football
  • Representing the College in a Intra-school Day e.g. TRAC Tennis, TRAC Golf
  • Representing at CIS or RAS trial day without prior qualification rounds

TWO POINTS:

  • Representing RAS (team or individual)                                                                               
  • Progression through to next Round of Gala Day or Intra-school Day
  • Winning a gala day
  • Runner Up Age Champion TRAC (Swimming/Athletics/X-Country/Diving) 
  • Representing the College at BISSA (swimming/Athletics/X-Country/Diving)

THREE POINTS:

  • Runner Up Age Champion BISSA (Swimming/Athletics/X-Country/Diving)
  • TRAC Age Champion (Athletics/Swimming/Cross Country)
  • TRAC Golf Champion
  • TRAC Tennis Champion
  •  Representing CIS (team or individual)
  • Member of the College team for CWWHS After School Sports Program (Cricket, Touch Football, Rugby League, Softball, AFL, Netball, Hockey, Soccer, Waterpolo)

FOUR POINTS:

  • BRONZE at CIS (team or individual)
  • Runner Up in a CWWHS after school sport competition

FIVE POINTS:

  •  SILVER at CIS (team or individual)
  •  Age Champion at BISSA (Athletics/Swimming/Cross Country/Diving)
  • Champion team at a CWWHS after school sport
  • Runners Up at a State Final 

 SIX POINTS:

  • Selection and  representation in ALL SCHOOLS (team/individual) 
  • GOLD at CIS (team or individual)
  • Winning a State Final

SEVEN POINTS:

  • BRONZE at ALL SCHOOLS level

 EIGHT POINTS:

  • Reserve in Australian Team     
  • SILVER at ALL SCHOOLS level                                                           

 NINE POINTS

  • GOLD at ALL SCHOOLS (Team/ Individual)
  • Representing AUSTRALIA (team/ individual)
