 Car Caper Activity June 2017 - Rosewood Motorkhana Results

Activities Weeks occur in the final weeks of Terms 2 and 4.
Junior students participate in a range of adventure, recreational and creative activities. The activities are designed to develop physical and social skills and to maintain and foster positive interpersonal relationships within the school.
 

Our Term 2 options for Year 7, 8 and 9 are:

  • Gamecraft - computer, board and ranged games. Cost $20
  • Mind, Body and Soul - yoga, massage, nail painting, healthy food, body balance and more. Cost $80
  • Fun and Fitness day trips - pitch n putt, lake walk, ten pin bowling: lots of fun and a little bit of fitness. Cost $60
  • Car Capers - learn basic car maintenance and how to drive here on school grounds. Cost $100
  • Out and About - 1 day in Canberra and 2 days of local activities. Cost $110
  • Cricket Bat making. Cost $140
  • Golf - try both Wagga Golf courses. Cost $60
  • Art and Farm activities on the farm and in town. Cost $100

Overnight Trips:

  • Melbourne Sporting Experience - watch the AFL, have a tennis lesson on Rod Laver Arena, learn to ice-skate and try rock climbing. Cost $300
  • Sydney Adventures - options include the zoo, Luna Park, Darling Harbour and lots more. Cost $350

Students are invited to discuss options with their friends and parents and nominate their preferred option in Week 2 in Term 2. Notes will be sent out after this.

Year 10 students will do work experience this week. They should have this arranged and the paperwork submitted to Mrs Knight well in advance.

Senior students have a special timetable devised for these days.
